Disney Channel's president loves the gay Miley Cyrus video spoof ...

Seriously. In a surprising move, Disney, who owns Miley's music (as well as her soul), has allowed the video to become a hit on YouTube , and Disney employees have reportedly been e-mailing it to each other all week. It even got the seal of approval from Rich Ross, the president of Disney Channels Worldwide. Mr. Ross recently placed a phone call to the maker of the video, Add your comments

An adoption case that is now before an appellate court case presents a significant challenge to Florida's law against gays. BY CAROL MARBIN MILLER, cmarbin@MiamiHerald.com

As lawyers for a North Miami man seeking to adopt his two foster kids squared off with the state in an appellate courtroom last week, an irony pervaded the hearing: Martin Gill is a terrific foster dad to the boys and should be allowed to keep them, the state admitted. He just can't adopt them because he's gay.

Gill, who was asked to foster the two brothers in 2004 after their mother's cocaine abuse led to persistent neglect, has presented perhaps the most serious challenge to date to Florida's 32-year-old law banning adoption by gay people. The case now is before the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, which heard arguments in the case last week.

One member of the three-judge panel suggested the state Department of Children & Families might have been defending a state law the agency didn't really like.

``Aren't there two messages you are sending?'' Judge Vance E. Salter asked a lawyer representing DCF at the oral arguments. ``Child welfare officials, all up the chain, all seem to be saying it is in the best interests of the children to be adopted.''

How do gay pride parades affect your impression of homosexuals?

Overall, do gay pride parades give you a positive impression of homosexuals, a negative impression, or do they have little or no effect at all?

When you respond, please say if you are gay, straight, or bisexual. Thanks.

i am straight but as with each & every person who has ever thought about sex i have thought of being gay or bi.. i just decided that wasn't my path.. anyone who denies this is lying as it is factually impossible to NOt think of it at some point else you cannot make a choice either way..

with that said, the parades give me negative impression of gay society as they are often filled with freaks who are not freaks in my opinion because of sexuality but because of actions & manner of dress... i generally feel many of the freaks in these parades are what hurt gay rights and promote peoples feeling of it being unholy lifestyle or unatural lifestyle... i know this cannot be truth since homosexual behavior happens throughout nature as any farmer can tell you and catholic priests seem to have proven by constant and thurough action that it must not be unholy either...

still the parades are not a good thing in my opinion, but only because of the way they are done.. make it more like a labor day parade instead of a mardi gras parade..

Is it better to invite a gay groomsman to the bachelorette party then to the bachelor party?

My fiances cousin who is in our wedding is gay, and some of the other groomsmen are not as open minded as us. I do not want there to be hurt feels or to have anyone uncomfortable so I have been thinking about inviting him and his boyfriend to the bachelorette party. The girlfriends/wife's of the groomsmen are invited, is this social acceptable?

Why are attractive gay men the topic of so much conversation than unattractive ones?

There are two gay guys on my job. One isn't so attractive he isn't ugly just a little below average. The other one however is above average, he looks like he just stepped out of a GQ magazine. With this difference the similarity is that they are both gay. However the sexual orientation of the GQ looking one is the topic of conversation for everyone men and women alike. Why is that?

Attractive people draw more attention and conversation anyway, regardless of sexual orientation
